iPhone 16 Pro Repair in Saugus. Screens back in an hour.
Cracked screen, smashed back, a port that stopped charging, or a side button that quit after a drop. A screen at the Route 1 counter is about an hour with the part in stock; back glass on a Pro is hours of bench time, so leave the phone for that one and we will call you. Free look, real price, any day we are open.

The price and the timeline, before anything gets opened
Roughly an hour for a screen when the panel is on the shelf. Back glass on a Pro is hours of bench time, so leave the phone with us for that one and we will call you. If we have to order your part, you get the arrival day while you are still standing at the counter.
Everything starts with a free basic diagnostic. We look at the phone, tell you exactly what is wrong, and give you the number. The ranges on this page show what to expect, nothing happens until you say go, and walking away costs you nothing.
Here is the part most people do not expect, so you are hearing it early: on a Pro, a smashed back costs more than a smashed screen. The hardened glass over the display takes an impressive beating and usually wins, while the rear glass is fixed into the body instead of clipping off, so replacing it means a full teardown. The base models are built differently and cost far less for identical damage.
A button that stopped working after a drop is fixable
The 16 Pro brought a camera control to the right edge and turned the old mute switch into a programmable action button on the left. Useful additions, and both sit on the surfaces that hit the ground when a phone rotates on its way down, which is what phones do when you hold them at the bottom.
The symptom is understated rather than obvious. A control that ignores a light press, or answers only sometimes, on a phone with nothing visibly wrong anywhere. Since there is nothing to see, people almost never link it to the drop that happened a few weeks back.
If a control has felt different since a fall, tell us at the counter. It changes where we look first, the diagnostic is free either way, and these are individual parts rather than a reason to replace the phone.
Face ID works when you get the phone back
The hardware that recognizes your face lives in the screen that broke, and moving it across to the new display is part of the job. Done properly, your phone unlocks exactly as it always has.
The one thing nobody can undo is a fall that destroyed that hardware, because Apple pairs it to your specific phone. We test it during the free diagnostic before any money is discussed, so nobody gets bad news at pickup.
Two other realities on any current iPhone. Your phone shows a note in Settings when a screen or battery is not an Apple part, and some display behavior can vary with the panel you choose. Everything still works. We cover it at the counter on every current-generation job, because nobody should learn about it from their own Settings app a week later.
We do not erase anything
Photos, messages, apps, and logins stay exactly where they are. Screens, batteries, ports, and cameras never require touching your data, and we do not wipe devices.
Your device passcode is the only thing we ask for, and it is so we can test the repair before you leave: touch across the whole screen, Face ID, every camera, charging, and audio. Your Apple account password is not needed and we will not ask for it.
Back up beforehand if you get the chance. Quick to do and sensible regardless of who is working on the phone.
Ports, batteries, cameras, and audio
- Not charging. Test another USB-C cable first. Cable quality is all over the map and a bad one is indistinguishable from a bad port. Then lint, which packs in and usually clears during the free diagnostic. Actual port damage is nearly always leverage rather than wear.
- Battery fading. Early yet for this generation, though heavy users get there fast. We read the real health figure instead of going by feel, because sometimes the battery is fine and an app is the culprit.
- Blurry or flared photos. Usually cracked glass over the camera rather than a dead camera. The price difference between those two answers is substantial, which is why we check.
- A camera that genuinely failed. Expensive on any Pro, so eliminating the cheap explanation first is standard procedure here.
- Audio and buttons. Earpiece, speakers, microphones, and the side controls are all individual parts rather than reasons to replace a phone.
- Liquid. Off, stays off, no charging, no rice. How fast it gets to a bench is the only variable that really matters.
Choosing a screen for a phone you intend to keep
For a current Pro we usually point people at the best panel available. You will be looking at this display every day for years, and that is a different calculation from the one we make on a phone at the end of its life.
Cost is the honest pushback. Quality replacement screens are genuinely good and lots of customers choose one and are happy. Where the grades separate is color accuracy, how readable the screen is in direct sun, and how the always-on display looks, and those gaps show more on a flagship than on an older device.
We quote both and we refuse to stock the bottom tier at any margin, because ghost taps and dead touch zones bring you back through the door. Our Limited Lifetime Warranty covers the part we fit and the work we did, and it has never covered a fresh crack from a fresh drop.
Fix it, claim it, or trade it?
Set against buying a new Pro at retail, every repair listed here is the cheaper route, including the back glass. For most people that is the whole decision.
Two things can change it. A phone with several serious faults at once can add up past the point of sense, and we will say so rather than quietly quoting it. And a phone still inside Apple's coverage or an insurance plan may be better handled that way. We handle insurance claim repairs, so raise it at the counter instead of guessing.
When trading genuinely is smarter, we buy phones outright including damaged ones through our buyback, and everything in pre-owned inventory is tested and warrantied. Steering somebody toward the cheaper option costs us a ticket and earns a customer for years, which is a trade this shop has made deliberately since 2011.
Walk in whenever
No appointment. Bring the phone and your passcode, mention any drop even if it looks fine, and tell us about coverage if you think you have it.
The bench sits out in the open in the same room as the counter, because there are no curtains around our repair tables.
What will it cost? Get your price now
We do not publish a price list, because the price depends on your device rather than on the model in general. The instant quote gives you the real number for your repair in under a minute, with no form and no email gate.
What decides your price:
- Your exact model and year
- Which part it needs, and the grade of that part
- Whether more than one thing is broken
- What we find once it is open

Common questions
The camera control quit working after I dropped it. Fixable?
Come in for a free diagnostic. Those controls sit on the edge a phone is most likely to land on, so a drop that left no mark can still affect them. Tell us about the drop when you arrive.
Why is back glass the expensive one on a Pro?
The rear glass is fixed into the body rather than being a removable panel, which makes replacing it a full teardown. Base models are built differently and cost far less for identical damage.
Does a new display affect Face ID?
No. We transfer the Face ID hardware from your original screen onto the new panel. The only exception is a drop that destroyed it, which nobody can restore, and we test yours for free first.
Will you wipe my phone?
No. Standard repairs never require touching your data. We ask for your passcode only so we can test the repair properly before handing the phone back.
Charging stopped working. Where do I start?
With a different USB-C cable, because cable quality varies enormously and a dead cable looks exactly like a dead port. After that, lint is the usual suspect and we generally clear it during the free diagnostic.
How long will you need the phone?
About an hour for a screen when the part is in stock. Back glass on a Pro is hours of bench time, so plan on leaving it with us and we will call you.
Is the premium screen worth paying for?
If you are keeping the phone for years, usually. The differences in color and outdoor brightness are things you notice daily. We quote both grades so the choice is yours with real numbers in front of you.
Do I need to book a time?
No. Walk in any day we are open and the basic diagnostic is free whether or not you have anything done.
